Enthusiasm Breeds Success
By: Solomon Brenner At: 3/16/2011 9:56 AM
One of the most important things you can give your child to help him reach his goals is enthusiasm. Nobody ever succeeded at something by being apathetic about it. Yes it's true that opportunities sometimes just come your way, but more often than not we have to go looking for opportunity. If your child doesn't work hard at something that they want, they are never going to get it. You and they have to be proactive in order for them to achieve success.
Motivating Your Child For Academic Success
By: Solomon Brenner At: 3/16/2011 9:55 AM
When your child is having trouble in school, it's never right to assume it's from lack of trying. There are a number of reasons why your child may not be doing as well as he could. Maybe he lacks the motivation he needs to keep going when assignments and tests get difficult. He could be embarrassed to participate in class for fear of getting an answer wrong. It could even be that he has trouble maintaining his focus in class.
Finding Focus Through a Child's Interests
By: Solomon Brenner At: 3/16/2011 9:54 AM
What is really meant by black belt focus is being entirely present in the moment. Black belts don't continuously dwell on the past or worry about the future; their main concern is the present moment. They have the ability to focus completely on what they are doing.
